Sobre a brisa outonal que já nos ameaça
Eu choro todos os desgostos que me assombram
E os zéfiros ao meu ouvido cantam
A nostálgia que a alma me trespassa

O silêncio da tristeza é absoluto
Como as profundezas de um oceano
Onde todas as minhas tristezas se afogam e o meu segredo arcano
Se cobre de luto

Eu sou como a rosa que ainda há pouco desabrochou
Nas pétalas da qual lágrimas de desalento correm
A minha semente é a alma que em meu corpo reinou

E onde as lembranças e nostálgia acorrem.
Contudo ao dia do meu padecimento ao mundo o júbilo retornou
Para em meu fúnebre leito sorrir de crueldade e desdém!
